Longboard

The Longboard is a sport that is played on asphalt downloads.

For this sport you need a table similar to skate, but a little longer and larger wheels and wider. It is also advisable to get protection in the head and knees and elbows. Because if you fall you can do much damage, and even break up some bone.

Longboard, for me is very funny and dificult, because is difficult to learn, and for this sometimes you fall.

This sport is not practiced much, but every time it practice more. And it is pretty cheap, because you only need for practice it one board of whip with four wheels.

My family

My parents are called Neus and Josep, they are do much sport, They are practice windsurf and surf.

I have one sister called Mar, and my parents and I are lives in L'Armentera (Girona), but 6 years ago we lives in Castelldefels (Barcelona). I have twelve aunts, four lives in Figueres (Girona), two lives in Castelldefels (Barcelona), three lives in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona), and two in Barcelona.

I have twuelve cousins, four girls and eight boys, eight are smaller than me and three older.

I have two grandparents in Barcelona, and two grandparents in Uleila del campo (Almeria).

I have lots of family, and I like it, bacause so we had a great times together.

Finally, I have one dog called Nero, and he is black and very nervous.

Panda bear

SCIENTIFIC NAME: Ailuropoda melanoleuca

WHERE IT LIVE: cold and wet in the bamboo forests of eastern Tibet and southwestern China.The Giant Panda lives in mountainous regions remote from the center in southwestern China, and feed on bamboo forests. Environment where lives: land.

The beach

The best place of the beach is the sea, because it is more fun, but there are other places where you can do a lot of things, for exemple,: to drink or to eat in the beach bars, to play football, volleyball, etc.

Definitely, the beach is a very funy and beautifull place.

Rising from beneath the waves: A new Canary Island emerges as underwater volcano hits the surface

-Volcano off El Hierro is just 70metres away from the surface and is spewing magma 20metres into the sky.

-Nearby town is evacuated and ships banned from travelling to the area as strong smell of sulphur fills the air.

-Explosive plumes and jets have been spotted coming from the volcano for the last month.

A brand new Canary island is emerging from the sea as an underwater volcano bubbles to the surface.
Magma off the Canary Island of El Hierro has been spewing 20 metres high as the sea boils with a smell of sulphur.
As it grows and gets closer to the surface, more and more debris such as stones start to shoot out of the volcano which, until now, has only shown its explosive power below the surface.
It is now just 70 metres from the surface and islanders are already trying to come up with a name for the new island. It is quite close to El Hierro and if it continues to erupt it could eventually meet up with the mainland.

It's not known at this point whether Ryanair, famed for flying to out-of-town airports, plans on opening up a route to the new-born island.

Homes have been evacuated and roads closed on the southern-most Canary Island following a government-issued warning about a possible volcanic eruption while shipping has been banned in the area.

The southern tip of El Hierro was shaken by a 4.3-magnitude quake late on Saturday as the underwater volcano just off the coast started spewing. The island, which has 500 volcanic cones, has already experienced more than 10,000 tremors in the past four months.

Renewed fears of an eruption came as vast quantities of magma - the molten rock from just under the earth's crust - began bubbling into the sea off the port of La Restinga.

Witnesses said that explosive plumes and jets could be seen on the ocean surface from the underwater volcano which began erupting last month. Some of the material is being ejected as high as 60ft into the air.
The regional government of the Spanish Canary Island issued a 'yellow' volcanic eruption alert - the second on a four-level scale. La Restinga's 600 residents were evacuated last week after the volcanic activity began.

Now new evacuations have been called for people living along the southern end of the island. Authorities have also shut down access to La Restinga.
Ships have been ordered away from waters around the port and aircraft have been banned from flying over the island's southern tip. The regional government of the Canary Islands says scientists have detected airborne volcanic fragments called pyroclasts rising from the sea off La Restinga.
The government said it awaited scientific reports on the danger posed by pyroclasts, but a research vessel that was collecting samples there has been ordered to stop.

Fears of an eruption have been going since the end of July, when El Hierro experienced the first of what has become more than 10,000 tremors - collectively known as an earthquake 'swarm'.
Residents were evacuated from some areas at the end of September when volcanic activity increased to more than 150 tremors in 24 hours. The army was put on standby for a mass evacuation.
Volcano expert Juan Carlos Carrecedo said at the time: 'There is a ball of magma rising to the surface producing a series of ruptures which generate seismic activity.
'We don't know if that ball of magma will break through the crust and cause an eruption.'
But he warned an eruption was possible 'in days, weeks or months'. The last eruption on El Hierro was in 1793 and lasted for a month while the last one in the Canary Islands as a whole took place on the island of La Palma in 1971.

Probably the volcano will grow a new island, thancks to the lava expelled.

In conclution, this volcano probably to erupt soon stopped. And people can not return to their homes, even within some time.

My sister

My sister name's Mar and she has four years old at the moment. She was born the first of December of 2006 in Castelldefels (Barcelona), and for now she lives in l'Armentera (Girona).

She goes to the school Els fluvianets, in l'Armentera and does P.4. She has a lot of friends and she has fun with them

She likes singing and dancing, but she likes water sports best.

She has long brown hair. She has brown eyes and is very tall.

She is fun, but sometimes we angry, because she and me have got very different caracters. Yet, she is very loving and always forgive use.

Germany v Spain: Paul the psychic octopus predicts World Cup defeat for Joachim Löw

Germany have been dealt a 'massive' blow to their World Cup chances after the psychic octopus, Paul, picked Spain to win their semi-final clash.

Paul has predicted all of Germany's World Cup results correctly so far, including wins against England and Argentina.

Paul even said that Serbia would beat Germany 1-0 in the group stage.

However, there is still a glimmer of hope for Germany. In all his years of making predictions, the only one Paul has ever got wrong was the Spain v Germany final at Euro 2008.

The octopus opted for Germany but Spain were the victors, winning 1-0.

German fans are now hoping the opposite will happen and by picking Spain to win it will actually be Germany who come out on top.

Such is the popularity that surrounds the octopus the German news channel n-tv actually broadcasted its Germany-Spain prediction live, even having two reporters commentating on it.

The handlers of the psychic octopus at Aquarium Sea Life in Oberhausen encourage Paul to make the predictions by putting mussels into two glass cubes, with each cube having one of the nation's flags on the front.

The mussel Paul chooses first is taken to be its prediction.

Paul initially went to the Spain-marked container before moving around the tank and then hovered over the German box. But he eventually opted for the European champions.

Paul has become world reknowned, but this good humoured, quirky phenomenon has not been well recieved by everybody.

Following the quarter-final prediction where Paul correctly guessed Argentina would lose to Germany the Argentineans threatened to kill the octopus and put it in a paella.

The newspaper El Dia gave this recipe for anyone daring to capture Paul: "All you need is four normal potatoes, olive oil for taste and a little pepper."

Argentinan chef Nicolas Bedorrou has suggested on Facebook a far more simplistic and brutal way to cook the octopus.

"We will chase him and put him on some paper. We will then beat him (but correctly!) in order to keep the meat tender and then put it in boiling water."

Michael Jackson, the "King of Pop," has died after suffering cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home. The singer had been preparing for a major comeback after years of seclusion.

A fire department official said Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his rented Bel Air mansion at 12:26 p.m. It's believed his personal physician was with him at the time.

Jackson, 50, was then treated at UCLA Medical Center, just a six-minute drive away. But hospital officials were unable to revive him. His brother Jermaine Jackson said doctors pronounced him dead at 2:26 p.m.

"A team of doctors, including emergency physicians and cardiologists, attempted to resuscitate him for a period of more than one hour. And they were unsuccessful," he told reporters.

Jermaine Jackson also asked media to respect his family's privacy "during this tough time, and may all love be with Michael always."

The circumstances of Jackson's death were not immediately clear. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner of the Los Angeles County coroner's office, said he would handle the investigation.

Because of Jackson's high profile, the Los Angeles Police Department has also assigned two robbery-homicide detectives to the case, but said there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

"Don't read anything into it," LAPD Lt. Gregg Strenk told reporters.

Lawyer Brian Oxman, a sometime-spokesperson for the Jackson family, alleged that prescription medications may have contributed to the death.

"For the last many months, and almost more than a year, this family has been talking about the use of medications by Michael and warning he was going to wake up dead," Oxman, his voice wavering, told CTV News Channel. "This was our fear."

Jackson's death came as he prepared for a major comeback next month, after years of seclusion. He was scheduled to perform 50 shows in London's O2 Arena, with the financial backing of two billionaires.

Jackson, who had won 13 Grammys and sold more than 750 million albums over his career, had not embarked on a major tour since 1997.

In recent years, he had been the subject of endless tabloid headlines and financial difficulties. If his London shows had proved successful, he was expected to embark on a major world-wide series of concerts.

He first gained fame as a musical prodigy with his brothers in the Jackson 5. He was just a child, but under the watchful eye of his father, Joe Jackson, the group managed a string of hit singles with Motown Records.

The singer then broke out on his own in 1971, and began to craft his reputation as the "King of Pop." His solo efforts have become some of the best-selling albums of all time, including "Off the Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad."

The latter two albums coincided with the rise of MTV, and Jackson became known for a series of ground-breaking music videos -- including the horror-themed "Thriller."

Along with his talents as a singer and songwriter, he was also a spectacular dancer. He showed off his signature move, "The Moonwalk," during a 1983 television appearance celebrating the 25th anniversary of Motown.

But as his fame rose, so did his eccentricity. He became known for his child-like demeanor and his treasure trove of toys and amusement park rides at his Neverland Ranch -- named after the fantastical island of Peter Pan.

By the late-1980s he had become fodder for the tabloids. In 1986, it was erroneously reported that he slept in a hyperbaric chamber. Other reports focused on his paling skin, which Jackson blamed on the disease Vitiligo, and his numerous plastic surgeries that completely changed his facial appearance.

And then in 1993, in the most severe blow to his career, Jackson was accused of child molestation. He eventually settled the allegations out of court, but they continued to haunt him and the public never saw Jackson the same way again.

The March announcement of 50 shows at London's O2 Arena appeared to signal a return to form for Jackson, and a way to settle his debt problems. Tickets for the event, called "This is It," sold out within hours.

In the film, the girl go out of control. Tracy's mather discover drugs, and expells the girl her home.

Hi my name is Paula Viñas, and today I will explain my favourite sport (surf).

Surf is a sport of water. In the surf only needed one board and big waves.

People need to start surfing, a round board top and long, and the professional surfers use a board short and pointed.

Places:

The surf can be practiced in many different beaches.

Here in Catalonia there aren't many places where you can practece, but I will practice in Sant Pere Pescador or Sant Martí d'Empúries beach.

Dangerous and Fun:

This sport is very fun, but sometimes dangerous, because you can hurt or drowning.

The noise

Yesterday, I was staying at home when I heared a noise in the bathroom, I went there and searched the thing that made the sound, but I didn't find it. Then, when I was on the sofa, I heared another sound, similar to the other. Later, I went to bed, but I didn't see any strange things.

Today, Sunday, I was playing football in the garden, when I saw something moving, but I didn't see exactly what it was, and I started search again.

Finally, I found and it was a very beautiful cat, and this was the problem of the sounds in my house, I named the cat Ona.
